In late 2015, Acklands-Grainger centralized and globalized much of its IT operations in the U.S. to accommodate a major shift to online sales. Part of this process meant decommissioning a significant amount of on-premises infrastructure hardware in Canada, which resided in the company’s Canadian headquarters in Richmond Hill, Ont.
