Rogers and The National Arts Centre are partners on the stage

Technology brings us together – it connects us in our personal and work lives. Performing arts, too – whether it is music, dance, or theatre – connects us and brings people together. With The National Arts Centre (NAC) looking to become one of the most digitally connected art centres in North America, we have worked with them to increase connectivity across its revitalized building in the nation’s capital.

The NAC was originally a centennial project that opened in 1969 and is being renewed to mark Canada’s 150th anniversary in 2017. The architectural rejuvenation and digital upgrade of the NAC includes more than 60,000 square feet of new public and performance space, with improved digital connectivity, accessibility, and some of the most beautiful views of the capital.

For the next three years, we will provide next-generation, reliable and complementary Wi-Fi for all public spaces in the refreshed NAC. More than one million visitors (annually) will get a new connected experience as they enter the NAC!
